Founded in 2004, CBA Formula is a Michigan-based nonprofit committed to helping entrepreneurs build strong, sustainable businesses through advanced technical assistance, capital access strategies, and entrepreneurship training.
For more than two decades, CBA Formula has operated at the intersection of entrepreneurship, economic equity, and business development, supporting small business owners—particularly those from underserved communities—in moving from startup to stability and long-term growth.

Our Founder
CBA Formula was founded by Donald Snider, a respected entrepreneur and economic development leader whose career spans automotive supply, retail chain ownership, and public-sector leadership.
Mr. Snider previously served as a Vice President of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and is also the owner of Metro Business Connect, where he has dedicated years to connecting businesses to growth opportunities, procurement networks, and strategic partnerships.
His vision for CBA Formula was to create an organization that combines practical business experience with economic development expertise—ensuring entrepreneurs have access to the tools and relationships necessary to compete and thrive.
